for the DUP International Camp 2026 in India

 Registration process step-by-step

We are looking forward to seeing you in November. We aim to host 300+ participants in this camp. Below are the steps to sign up for the camp. We have received a lot of interest from the community, so please register soon to make sure you reserve your spot.

Step 1 - Read the instructions below

Read carefully: About the camp; the FAQs; the principle of financial contribution; the price of different accommodation types if you want to upgrade your standard option.

Step 2 - Choose your ticket

Choose your ticket type.

Please select your preferable ticket type as per your financial capacity, or apply for a scholarship

Step 3 - Choose your accommodation

Accommodation options.

Your ticket does NOT include the price of accommodation. Based on your choice of accommodation, add that price to your ticket price.

Step 4 - Fill in the Registration Form

Register using this Form. It takes about 15-30 minutes.

Step 5 - Pay the deposit

We are collecting a deposit of 20% of the total camp fee, payable via UPI/bank transfer for those in India, and via PayPal for those from outside of India.

Step 6 - Receive our confirmation

Wait for our email confirmation to start preparing for the trip. Feel free to contact us if you don’t hear back within 5 days.

Principle for financial contribution

The pricing for the camp is based around the guiding principle of “offer what you can and ask for what you need”, as well as honoring the value of abundance and inclusion.  We have done our best to keep the ticket prices as affordable as possible for all participants.

We are grateful for the financial support from Beyond Initiative and the generosity of our trainers who gift their time and energy to make the camp more affordable.

OFFER WHAT YOU CAN

Firstly, we invite you to have a conversation with yourself about your capacity and willingness to contribute financially to this camp, then choose the camp ticket type that best matches you:

  • Sustainable ticket: you not only cover the camp costs but also contribute to the following:
    • Honorarium for the trainers for their hard work and wisdom;
    • Reimbursement and honorarium for the organizing team for all the behind-the-scene work;
    • Seed fund for the continuation of the next camp if there is an abundance, travel support, and Dedication scholarship fund.
  • Basic ticket: you cover the camp costs and contribute to the following:
    • Honorarium for the trainers to appreciate their dedicated service;
    • Reimbursement and honorarium for the organizing team for all the behind-the-scene work.

* The ticket you pick does not affect the quality of the camp or how you are treated during the process. It also will not be revealed to anyone else besides the organizers.

ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED

If you cannot afford the two types of tickets, we invite you to ask for what you need. We suggest two ways of asking for what you need in terms of financial contribution:

Firstly, let’s embrace your inner and outer assets. We invite you to practice turning inward to yourself and outward to your community, the people who know, love, and trust you. Where can you turn outward? What could you leverage in your talents and creative potential to invite support? This is the way some of our participants last year tried to fundraise for themselves to join the camp. Turning outward is also an experiment to explore our inner potential. If you need a thinking buddy on how you can turn outward, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Then, if you have tried your best and still need some direct support from us, you can:

  • Apply for our scholarship: Please note that each scholarship type has its criteria which you must meet in order to apply. (for details please check here);
  • Apply for support from DUP local circles. The local circles might support you with financial aid or powering your crowdfunding. If you do not already have a point of contact for your local circle, please reach us at beyondinitiative2026@gmail.com.

Camp ticket

There are two types of tickets:

Sustainable ticket: 31,200 INR

Basic ticket: 26,500 INR

 

What does it mean?

Revisit the principle for financial contribution above.

The ticket will cover

  • Pick-up buses between Mumbai city centre and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai (nearest international airport) and the venue:
        • Departing from Mumbai city centre and Mumbai airport at 8:30 am on Nov 28th, 2026;
        • Departing from the venue after lunch at 2 pm on Dec 5th, 2026;
        • If you can’t join these pick-up buses, please take care of your transportation
  • Food (strictly vegetarian with vegan options available) for the whole camp, including:
      • Nov 28th: Dinner;
      • Nov 29th – Dec 4th: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner;
      • Dec 5th: Breakfast & Lunch.
  • Cost for the camp venue, setting up the space, and materials during the camp.

The ticket will NOT cover

  • Accommodation: Your camp fee does NOT include the price of accommodation. Please check the accommodation options and prices HERE and add the difference to your camp ticket price.
  • Transportation to the pick-up point in Mumbai, India;
  • Any additional cost if you travel with family;
  • Your extra meals, drinks, and medication that are not included in our plan;
  • Your travel insurance;
  • VAT – we are not providing VAT invoice.

Refund policy

  • We are collecting 20% of the total financial contribution as a non-refundable deposit to confirm your spot in the camp. If you are unable to join the camp after payment of deposit (please immediately inform us via email), the deposit will be refunded ONLY if you are able to transfer your spot to a friend, or if your spot is filled by another participant by 1 October 2026.

Scholarship

We have two types of scholarships. You need to meet the eligibility and complete the scholarship application in the Registration form. After that, we will evaluate and inform you of the result.

 

To understand the eligibility, please take note of these following important terms:

Certified dance leader/ Mentor-in-training

A person who gets certified by a DUP certified mentor, or recognized by DUP International as a mentor-in-training.

Dance-leader-in-training (DLiT)

A person who has a certified DUP mentor and is registered with DUP International

DUP leading practitioner

A person who is practicing leading the DUP but has not registered with the DUP international and has not been mentored yet.

DUP organizer

A person who joins  organizing/hosting of DUP circles in local areas in Asia; this person can provide reference from a mentor and/or a local DLiT/ DUP leading practitioner.

DUP active member

A person who participates by dancing in DUP local circles in Asia; this person is continuously present in DUP local circles; this person can provide a reference from a mentor and/or a local DLiT/ DUP leading practitioner.

Here are the details of each scholarship type:
INCLUSIVITY

What does it offer?

The Inclusivity Scholarship offers a 50% discount on the Sustainable Ticket. Recipients will pay 15,600 INR.

The scholarship does not include accommodation.

The scholarship receiver still needs to choose their accommodation and pay for it. Options for accommodation can be checked here.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
– Be an active DUP dancer/ a DUP leading practitioner with a reference from a certified dancer leader or DLiT in their local circles.

– Or be a certifed dance leader/mentor-in-training/DLiT with a reference from a DUP certified mentor or teacher;

Or

– Be a first-time participant with strong potential to bring DUP to a new local area (a reference or introduction is required; preference will be given to those from underrepresented regions).

* Priority is given to applicants from Asia.

Important timeline:

–  Application open: June 28th, 2026.

– Application close: 23.59 UTC+5.30 August 28th, 2026

– Application result: 2 weeks from the date of application.

DEDICATION

What does it offer?

The Dedication Scholarship fully covers participation fees and accommodation for the camp.

The accommodation included in the scholarship is Non-AC standard room (3-4 people/room) If you want to choose another accommodation, you can check it here. You will need to pay for the difference of the new accommodation choice.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
– Be an Active certified Dance Leader/mentor-in-training/ DLiT/DUP leading practitioner/DUP organizer currently working with the Beyond Initiative Project;
– Have a reference from a DUP mentor/teacher;

This is an acknowledgment of the person’s contribution to the DUP movement, especially in Asia.
Please note: The scholarship does not cover transportation between your hometown and Mumbai, India.

Important timeline:

– Application open: June 28th, 2026.

– Application close: 23.59 UTC+5.30 July 28th, 2026

– Application result: August 8th, 2026.

Ready to sign up?

If you are ready to sign up, please fill out the registration form. In the process, please pay the deposit of 20% of the total of your camp ticket and accommodation charges to confirm your spot in the camp. This deposit is transferable but non-refundable. We request you to pay the remaining 80% with cash in INR on arrival at the venue.

  • For participants from India: pay the 20% deposit via UPI / bank transfer (information is in the registration form) and attach a payment confirmation.
  • For participants from outside of India: pay the 20% deposit via Paypal (information is in the registration form) and attach a payment confirmation. If you are facing trouble with Paypal, attach a confirmation of your purchased flight ticket to India to confirm your spot in the camp, and make the entire payment with cash in INR on arrival at the venue.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Registration is currently open only to participants from Asian countries. To ensure that participants from Asia have priority access to camp places, we are not yet accepting registrations from participants from non-Asian countries. We kindly ask participants from non-Asian countries to wait for our update on August 31, 2026, before registering. Thank you for your understanding.
